We unusually had a lot of thunderstorms this week and some lovely hot weather which then turned into a windy cold storm.

I took the opportunity in between these storms to make some pizza using the Ooni Koda and fancied making a very garlicky pizza with some multi-coloured bell peppers and white onions.
I fried all of these together with some olive oil and loads of fresh garlic and placed a lid on to give them a steam as they fried. I enjoy bell peppers when they are fully cooked and quite soggy!

I used yellow, red and orange bell peppers and they looked and tasted so good on pizza and they make a great vegetarian option, full of flavour.
I love adding garlic to the toppings on pizza and that’s why I made the Garlic Pizza Bread video a few times - they are the most flavourful because I’m a huge fan of garlic bread generally.
I make garlic bread using baguettes and add fresh garlic mashed into butter and spread it over the inside of the baguette that’s been cut half way down into the centre. I then cover it in foil and pop it into the oven until the butter and garlic melts into the bread. Perfect.
I made this pizza with a 200g pizza dough ball and the pizza came out to about 11” in size. For information on how I make pizza dough check out my video here.
This was a pretty normal cook, with no disasters, with nothing damaged and the weather stayed good. I am however itching to get my hands on the Ooni Karu and Ooni Koda 16 which I have on pre-order. I hope that they will arrive July/August time - I’ve just got to measure up my table to see if the Koda 16 will fit on it!
